JohnDiGilioJohn DiGilio, Senior Director of Research and Intelligence for LAC Group’s LibSource division, was among a slate of honorees recognized by the Special Libraries Association (SLA) for their service to the organization in 2015.

SLA awards Presidential Citations to members for notable contributions that enhance the association and help further its goals.

John was recognized for his participation on two SLA committees. He served as Chair of the Finance Committee for three years, helping SLA navigate financial challenges and ensure that the association continues to remain on sound financial footing. In addition, he was a member of the Transition Committee, which helped lay the groundwork to envision how SLA might become more dynamic and proactive in the future.

The Special Libraries Association is a nonprofit global organization for information professionals and their strategic partners in business, government, academic, and other specialized library settings. The association offers learning, networking, and community building initiatives.
