Contemporary filmmaker on preserving America’s film heritage

Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden will host a conversation with successful filmmaker Christopher Nolan (Dunkirk, Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight) on Thursday, November 2, in Washington, D.C. He will discuss his personal experiences as director, writer, producer and film preservationist. Nolan continues to shoot film in a digital age, and he is a member of the National Film Preservation Board, established by the Library of Congress to ensure the survival, conservation, and public availability of America’s film heritage.
