LAC Group CEO Rob Corrao is also a licensed pilot, and those two skills and experiences of flying and running a business come together in his article, “Life-and-Death lessons for ‘Piloting’ Your Company” published by Entrepreneur, an American magazine and website that covers entrepreneurship and business.
The article refers to the recent tragedy of a cargo plane crash as it was transporting packages for Amazon that killed the pilot, co-pilot and a second pilot riding as a passenger. As a pilot himself, Rob has been following the incident.
In his article, Rob tells the story of his own in-flight emergency, relating the quick choices he had to make to some of the decisions business leaders face regularly. The business lessons he shares include how to defeat panic by planning for disaster and knowing when (or not) to communicate.
Rob Corrao has been CEO of LAC Group since the start of 2018, promoted from Chief Operating Officer. He has over twenty years of experience in information technology, strategy, operations, consulting, sales and marketing.
