The Federal LCA Commons initiative was awarded the 2017 Government Leadership in Lifecycle Assessment Award from the American Center for Life Cycle Assessment (ACLCA). The honor took place at the group’s conference on October 4, 2017 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Federal LCA Commons is a collaborative initiative among several U.S. government departments including the Environmental Protection Agency, USDA National Agricultural Library, various Department of Energy agencies and more.
LAC Federal librarians and life cycle assessment experts who are part of the Commons team were recognized, including Zac Coventry, engaged at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
Also receiving the 2017 award were EarthShift Global CEO Lise Laurin and GE’s Ecoassessment Center of Excellence.
