The American Lawyer discusses law firm outsourcing

LAC Group executives, LibSource client and others weigh in

Home News The American Lawyer discusses law firm outsourcing

The American Lawyer, a publication of information company ALM, recently posted an article about the growing trend of law library outsourcing to independent providers, like LAC Group’s own LibSource.

LAC Group CEO Deborah Schwarz and COO Robert Corrao are quoted in the short piece, as are American Association of Law Libraries President Keith Ann Stiverson and Nina Cunningham, a library consultant at Quidlibit Research.

The article explains the trend as a move “by Am Law 200 firms to save money on support services, especially as legal research draws increasingly on online resources.” However other important benefits cited include improved service levels and real estate savings, especially in costly cities like New York.
